Your First Visit

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

After making a convenient appointment, you'll provide us with a comprehensive history to determine when you began to lose your health. The Confidential Health Profile is then reviewed by the doctor and you are introduced to one of our doctors in their office. During this private consultation with the doctor, we will unravel the micro and macro traumas that you have had to your spine and nervous system.

With your permission we will have you change into a pair of shorts and a gown, which we provide, while leaving your undergarments on. The examination will include comprehensive physical, orthopaedic, and neurological testing along with a chiropractic analysis. An x-ray examination is only performed when necessary. We are not only interested in the complaints that may have brought you to our office but also the overall health of your spine and nervous system.

On this first visit, any and all recent x-rays or reports from other doctors should be brought with you. If you do not have them we will send a request to your other doctors for these reports. Once your visit is completed with the doctor you will be scheduled for a Report of Findings. Generally your first visit is approximately 45 minutes.

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
How do you "catch" a cold?
Simply lower your resistance by avoiding the proper rest and exercise, eating lots of sugar and junk food, putting up with emotional stress and neglecting your nervous system by avoiding your chiropractor. You won't have to catch a cold because it will catch you!
